Little Twinkles

This month in Little Twinkles, we have enjoyed various themed activities like colouring poppies for Remembrance day, looking at the different colours. We have also been painting fireworks for Bonfire Night, Pudsey bears and Peppa pig pictures for Children in Need Day, as well as getting Christmas-sy with our Christmas cards. All of the different creative activities help us develop our fine motor skills, as well as encouraging sensory exploration and communication and language development. These activities also help with our hand eye coordination as well as developing colour recognition. This month we have also been enjoying Autumnal activities, exploring the leaves – the different textures, colours, and what noises they make. This supports our sensory development and exploring new things and feelings. Every day we sing songs with actions, getting to know our different facial features and different body parts, as well as reading books to help with our communication and language skills.
