Over the past month, Super Stars have been very busy completing activities ready for their end of term graduation. During these we have been going over letter and number recognition as well as familiarising ourselves with the correct sequence and filling in the missing gaps. We have also been practising our graduation song and the children can sing it beautifully now. We have been developing self-confidence as the children will be having settling in sessions at their new schools and will be onto new beginnings, so we have been doing group activities where we sing or talk in front of the class and answer questions about ourselves. We have been busy turning our role play into the ‘seaside’ getting crafty with painting the sea and sand, making a giant lighthouse, and creating boats and fish to display in the sea. We have also loved playing in the role play using our imagination to serve up fish and chips and ice-cream to our friends. We continue to learn new ways of playing and using tools in Forest School. The past few weeks we have enjoyed making perfumes from natural herbs and flowers and creating leaf kites that fly in the breeze. Super Stars have also been loving the sunshine, especially in our new sandpit!
