This month in Little Clusters we have been getting ready for the winter and the surprise snow meant we had great fun in the garden! We listened to the crunchy snow as we walked on it, and we built a little snowman and enjoyed feeling the texture of the snow. The children loved being in the big garden in the snowy weather and even saw a very tall snowman with a carrot nose! We have started getting the room ready for winter with some festive activities, making snowy trees, snowflakes and snowmen by gluing, sticking and painting! We celebrated National Princess Day with lots of dressing up and princess inspired colouring in and tuff tray activities. We’ve spent plenty of time out in the garden making the most out of our mud kitchen zone, scooping, digging, filling, and pouring soil to make all sorts of tasty concoctions! The children have really been loving singing and dancing lately, so dance parties (music and movement) have been a big hit! Lots of the children have grown in confidence and have even been singing to their friends during circle times!
