Little Twinkles Update…
This month in Little Twinkles, it has been all about Halloween and Bonfire Night!
We have been getting stuck in with some great activities to celebrate this such as sensory play with gloop, eyeballs, and spiders, practicing our shapes with a pumpkin shape sorter, mark making with flour to make spider webs and painting firework pictures.
At the moment, we are really enjoying our touch and feel books, which encourages group story time and interaction with adults and peers (also using our senses with different textures).
We have also been working on our recognition of facial parts using mirrors to see ourselves, pulling faces and pointing at our eyes, nose etc.
