Little Clusters
This month in Little Clusters we have been setting sail with our ‘Pirates and under the sea’ theme. We have done lots of fun artwork, including gluing and sticking, painting with sponges, cutting with scissors etc. to add to our new treasure island display. The children have loved playing with our new numeracy and literacy area, working on their mark making and counting!
On one day we cleared the floor and built a really large road track and train track complete with houses and vehicles. The children enjoyed moving the vehicles and discussing their colours. We’ve had a dinosaur adventure on the table with big dinosaurs and small dinosaurs, and different terrain for them, including the large rocky hills for pterodactyls to nest on. We have decorated a beautiful back drop for our small world area of a night time city scape and have started to decorate a 3D Big Ben too!
