Little Stars update

This month in Little Stars we have been enjoying lots of messy play activities to develop our fine motor skills!

We have been celebrating ‘Holi’ which is the festival of colours, we used lots of powder paints and mixed it with some water to see how it changes.

We have also been making Mother’s Day cards for Sunday, paintings for Red Nose Day, and making Easter bunnies with paint.

We have also been working on our gross motor skills and physical development; we have been enjoying time in the big garden, on the soft play, and spending lots of time in our garden too, practising our climbing and balancing skills.

The children in Little Stars have been engaging in lots of sensory play, practicing our pouring and scooping skills and exploring the different textures and sounds that we can make.

As always, we have been loving our music session with ‘Keep to the Beat’ Naomi; we learnt the different sounds of frogs and birds, making different sounds with the drums, exploring the different musical instruments, and singing lots of songs with our friends.
