For the past few weeks in Little Twinkles we have been doing some colouring and gluing on flowers to commemorate spring. We have also been enjoying the nice sunny weather, been in the garden, having picnics and socialising with our friends, helping us develop our social skills and knowledge of the different seasons of the year. We have been practicing our facial features, learning the names and pointing to them, developing our knowledge of our bodies. We have had the farm animals out, learning what sounds they make, where they can be found, and what some of them produce; the children loved hearing the sounds and copying them!! We have painted an umbrella with little rain drops to teach them about the change from winter to spring. We have also been learning the different rhymes and what actions they make and the children enjoy copying the different signs.
