Little Twinkles

This month in Little Twinkles we have been enjoying mark making with the new chalk boards. These will help us develop our fine motor skills using the chalk as well as helping develop our pencil grip. This activity also helps with new textures and feelings of using different materials. We have also enjoyed playing outside with our friends on the soft play, this helps us with our gross motor skills, balancing, as well as helping with our turn taking skills. In Little Twinkles, we have been having lots of fun looking at the different colours of the balls in the ball pit. Together with our friends we have enjoyed the sunshine outside whilst playing with the cars, on the slide, and on the rocking horses. This helps develop our gross motor skills as well as feeling the texture of the grass. As well as this, we have had loads of fun making lots and lots of noise with Naomi in the ‘Keep to the Beat’ music sessions, using the sensory blanket to explore different feelings and textures, shaking the maracas to the beat, and saying ‘hi’ to tiny Tim who showed us different sounds!
