Week beginning 19th June 2023

This month in Little Twinkles we have been exploring a wide range of activities. For example, we have been exploring ice play with beautiful flowers frozen inside giving the children an opportunity to explore new textures, to develop an understanding of the world, and to ignite curiosity. We have also been unsticking balls stuck with masking tape working on problem solving and developing our fine motor skills, getting very messy with the shredded paper, moving our bodies in different ways in the tunnel developing our gross motor skills, enjoying the sensory disco lights, and creating our own music with the instruments. We also said goodbye to Amy S this week who has started her maternity leave, and we have welcomed Kirsty as a full-time member of the Little Twinkles team.
