LITTLE STARS
Over the past month in Little Stars we have been very busy, from celebrating Christmas to welcoming most of the children back this week. The children have engaged in a range of Christmas activities, we enjoyed playing in the snowy train track, painting Christmas trees, visiting Father Christmas and having a party! In Little Stars we have a main focus over the month, and December was ‘turn taking and sharing’, we planned lots of focused activities to try and help us learn and develop this skill, the children engaged in pass the parcel, individual activities, and larger group activities all to help us with this skill. The children have also enjoyed practising their gross motor skills development this past month; we have really enjoyed chasing each other around the garden, climbing on the soft play, and kicking the footballs outside. We have also had a lovely week back welcoming most of our children back, they have settled in super well and enjoyed coming back to nursery!
