Little Clusters Update

This week in Little Clusters we have enjoyed spending lots of time outside exploring lots of different toys.

We have loved practising our balancing skills and gross motor skills using the balance bikes and having lots of running races in in the garden too!

We have also been learning about the new season of Spring; we have enjoyed painting some colourful flowers to celebrate the new season using egg cartons.

We have been working hard on our colour recognition this week too, using the coloured bears and sorting them into the correct colour pots, talking about the different colours to develop colour recognition and matching skills.

We have also been developing our fine motor skills using the pipe cleaner push with the colander and doing some threading to create different pictures. This has helped support us with our pencil grip and control, we have been practising writing the first letters of our name as this is some of our next steps we are working towards.

We have enjoyed spending time singing lots of different nursery rhymes and reading a range of books, our book of the week this week was the Hungry Hen!
