Little Clusters Update

This week in Little Clusters we have been focusing on ‘Healthy Body, Happy Me’.

Each day was a different theme…

On Monday it was ‘Movement Monday’, so we did some sticky kids songs to help us move our whole bodies, we also spent lots of time in the garden running around and climbing. We drank lots of water because of all the running and we all got to pour our own drinks using a small jug!

On ‘Talking Tuesday’ we read lots of stories which got us talking about lots of different things.

On ‘Wonderous Wednesday’ we explored the garden by going on a bear hunt, we found the bear hiding in his cave, but he wasn’t a scary bear, and we all had a turn having a picture with him! We also used some movement flashcards and copied the different actions that were on the cards.

On ‘Thrive Outside Thursday’ we spent all day outside enjoying the sun, we ate snack outside and played on the bikes. We found lots of worms in the big tire and enjoyed holding them before putting them back in their home, we also looked under the tree stumps, with the help of an adult, and found slugs and earwigs!

Finally, on ‘Friendship Friday’ we read the smartest giant in town, which is about friendship and being kind to others. We also got the guitars and African drums out to play in the garden; we shared the instruments with our friends and sung some of our favourite nursery rhymes!
