This month in Little Twinkles we’ve had a few changes within the room; both with staff and the environment. We’ve said goodbye to Laura who’s gone on maternity leave and welcomed Marzena who’s on her second week with us, we also said goodbye to our term time only children and staff (Ana) as we hope for some summer weather to enjoy. In the environment we have had a move around and created a book corner to enjoy listening to stories, made an outside sensory area which we’ve all enjoyed exploring and listening to the sounds we can make. We’ve enjoyed lots of activities and exploring and learning through play while socialising with our peers. One of our favourite areas of the room has been the home corner role-play area, cooking and serving food. We have also created some seaside art pictures which have been displayed on the double doors into the garden, enabling us to learn our colours and using our hand eye coordination to mark make and learn to grip equipment and control using fine motor skills. We have had a fabulous July and are looking forward to more fun days with our friends!
