Shining Stars
This month in Shining Stars, we have been learning all about Spring. We found minibeasts in the sand, we have been speaking about spring animals, and we made sheep using cotton wool. We have been having lots of Easter fun this week! We got stuck into a sensory tray with coloured tissue paper, pom poms, mini bird nests, and baby chicks. We spoke about the colours we could see and matched the pom poms with the correct nest. We have been getting crafty, making Easter cards, and decorating eggs with paint, pencils and paint dabbers. We have been practicing our name recognition, using phonics to recognise the letters in our name. We also welcomed back Chris, our Forest School Leader, who taught us the rules of Forest school and how we stay safe.
