SUPER STARS

Over the past month in Super Stars we have been very busy getting creative and getting lots of Christmas crafts done. We have done some painting, gluing and sticking, and using scissors, all to enhance and develop our fine motor skills. We have made crafts such as Christmas collages, wreaths, and hanging decorations. We have also been getting stuck into making the art work for our Christmas door based on the book ‘Stick Man’. We have been practising really hard on our pen control with some free colouring and writing our letters to Santa which we all did an amazing job at! We have loved reading and being interactive with the books ‘Stick Man’ and ‘Room on the Broom’, where we have been answering questions and holding up the picture logs to match the book. We have been singing our phonics and have recently become more familiar and confident with stage 2 and 3 Jolly Phonics. Every other Thursday we have been developing new skills in Forest School, such as sawing which has developed our gross motor skills. We have all enjoyed coming into nursery every morning to see what our cheeky class elf has been up to and the mischief he has been causing, along with doing our class advent calendar where we each get to take a mini activity book home to complete every day.
