Little Twinkles

This month in Little Twinkles we have been enjoying getting in the Autumn and Halloween spirit with our friends. We have been exploring the tuff tray which had fake spiderwebs, spiders, pumpkins as well as some autumn leaves. This activity helps us develop our sensory skills as well as our knowledge of the seasons. It also helps us with our exploration and imagination skills and colour recognition. We have also been exploring the outside garden! We have been playing in the big cars driving around the garden with our friends, as well as playing peek a boo with each other in the play house, this helps us with our gross motor, independence skills as well as using our imagination skills. For our Halloween door we have been painting pumpkins, bubbles and even a cauldron using lots of different utensils like the paint brushes, sponge dabbers and the sponge rollers. For these activities we used our fine motor skills and our pencil grip.
