LITTLE STARS

In Little Stars we now have a main focus every month where we focus on something specific, this month was following instructions. To help us learn this skill we have been making and creating pumpkins, bats, and ghosts – which also helps with our fine motor skills and colour recognition. To continue learning this we practised lining up before we went outside, sitting down for meal times, finding our own cups, taking off our own shoes, and trying to do our zips ourselves. All of Little Stars did so well with learning this skill this month. We have been busy engaging in lots of tuff tray activities this month; we have been exploring our different senses to celebrate Roald Dahl day, we used our fine motor skills to find spiders that were hidden by a big spider web, the children created the rainbow fish using cotton wool and different coloured paint, the rainbow fish book also helps us learn to share with our friends. All of these activities have helped the children develop their fine and gross motor skills, sharing skills, communication and language, and problem solving skills!
